More closing chores

When we shut down for the season, all of the waterlines are emptied of water and then filled with non-toxic anti-freeze to prevent breaks and splits in the lines.  It’s a system that works better than any other we’ve tried and with time we’ve worked the kinks out.  We can isolate specific waterlines and close the park down in steps.  The last efforts were made this weekend and we’ve officially shut the systems down until the end of April next year.

And then the wind shifted
And then the wind shifted

We have the water system completely put to bed before the clocks are set back. That deserves a reward so…apple turnovers wrapped in a butter pastry with apples from the playground…and a cappuccino…yes, dears, I wish you were here!

Just rewards on a dark night
