Today

We did Snoopy dances in the sunshine today…it feels like weeks since the sky has been robin egg blue with warm breezes spreading the scent of the roses…yes friends, we’ve been sun-starved here on the Maine coast…

But Today…
Our artist in residence Tom Cote has settled into the studio…he’s holding regular hours from each morning and afternoon when campers can come to the space and learn to whittle wood spirits and Christmas ornaments under his watchful eye.

This afternoon we got a great invitation to ride the Bay in the “First Team” with lobsterman/captain Travis Otis…Steven jumped at the chance…and I stayed behind to walk the hound along the shore…this is what we saw…

  1. Wow! How long will Tom be there? I would love to see his work and the boys would be amazed to see his talent.

    1. Tom will be here through Saturday the2nd…come see or better yet, participate…he’s offering classes during two daily sessions: 9:30-11:30 and 1:00-4:00…$7/person including the day at the campground.

  2. Looks like Tom is hard at work. He does such a beautiful job.
