Mark your calendars for June 17-19…Kathie Wing is coming to Searsport!

Have you ever wondered what Geocaching was? Would you like a chance to try it without the expense of purchasing a GPS? Do you already geocache but would like someone to go with while you are camping? We will have a local who has been geocaching since 2003 on hand to get you started or to take you around to some of the caches in the area.

Do you like scrapbooking and would like a place to do it while away on a camping weekend? Do you not like having to pick up to make room to have dinner? Have you wanted to try scrapbooking but don’t know where to start? We will have a scrapbooking enthusiast on hand with some of her books for you to look at and some supplies to start you if you have never scrapbooked before. All you need to supply are pictures. Feel free to bring a snack to share and bring a beverage.

This is the perfect weekend for both of these activities. Perhaps you scrapbook and geocache and you want to do both. This weekend you can do both. Simply set up your scrapbooking supplies in the Art Studio Friday when you arrive, leave it set up all weekend and scrapbook around geocaching.

Geocaching is a fun activity for families. Kids love finding traditional caches that have treasures in them. There are many in the area for you to check out. Scrapbooking is a way to document that special event in your life. Together this makes for a fun weekend. So join us June 17, 18, and 19th for a fun weekend of Geocaching and Scrapbooking. There will be something for everyone.
