The Bees are Home from Georgia

You may remember that Steven’s Christmas present was a bee keeping class.  Today he graduated and we brought home two colonies of honey bees.   Here are the graduation photos…we’ll post a video of the “coming home” in a day or two…

If you haven’t heard the hum of a contented honey bee hive, you’re missing one of the most enchanting sounds the world has to offer.

Many thanks to Rick & Paula Cooper for driving straight to Georgia and back to bring home the bees.
