Airstreams for the writer

I had lunch with artist Susan Perrine the other day in Lisbon Maine (she’s the lovely woman responsible for the twig garden structures in the Shores).  I chatted her ear off about my child-like weaving and she answered every one of my beginner questions.

Airstream on the move

When I was finished breathlessly, she spoke of the gallerys that are asking to feature her work in Rhode Island and New York…such is life.  Towards the end of lunch (great Italian food behind a not so appealing exterior) she pulled out a few of the wonderful cards she’s started to make with scraps and inspiration from her days at the campground…we’ll carry them in the store next year but if you want them for Christmas contact her through her website, on facebook or she’ll have them soon on her new Etsy store.  She can even customize them with maps that feature Mid Coast Maine or any other part of your trip that you’d like to highlight…Yeah Susy!
