The Frog & Fairy Camper Cabin

Our camper cabin is that in-between step from a tent to a cottage. It sleeps 5 comfortably on bunk beds with mattresses, has a fridge and electricity. Just like real camping, you cook on the fire ring outside and use the campground bath facilities.

The cabin is situated under huge white pines, has parking on site and is a 3 minute stroll to the bathrooms and playground…4 minutes to the beach. There’s a covered porch with a swing for a lazy afternoon. Most importantly, it’s scrumptiously clean, light and airy and the knotty pine interior smells really good!

  1. Looking forward to our visit this summer. Being a novice camper I am filled with questions. Call it camping if you may, we are staying in the cabins. My hubby says sleeping bags…the princess in me says sheets and blankets…what do you recommend?

    1. Barb, I’m all for embracing the Queen…let him bring a sleeping bag and you bring sheets and a down comforter. Remember that it’s extremely rare to be hot here at night…even in August. And if you’re the sort of queen who can feel a pea…bring a mattress topper…these are camping mattresses…just say’in.

[…] 11.  Generally speaking, there is a five night minimum for reserving a rental trailer.  The rate is $140/night which includes 2 adults and three children.  We are unable to host pets in the rental trailers because of the upholstery and carpeting but can have them in the Frog and Faerie Cabin. 3. we loved our stay here last Summer. It comfortably slept a family of 6, and the kiddos loved all the togetherness. btw…while it might look small on first inspection, once all the beds are made, and gear is stored under the beds, it’s just perfect.

  4. What are your rates for the cabins and would also like to know the tent rates too

    1. Hi Jess,
You’ll find all of our camping rates on our website here: http://www.campocean.com/Campground_Rates.html

  5. Staying here in Searsport with my sister. We drive by almost every day & it looks excellent just on the casual glance. Cabins look great from the road. I know that the view is unbelievable espically for someone from Texas where an ocean view is never to be had. Love the weather here since Texas is already hitting triple digit temp.
